Couples Therapy

The work looks at the patterns each partner brings into the relationship and how they interact with one another, building co-regulation and a shared felt sense of safety between you. Rather than avoiding conflict, we focus on rebuilding trust and repair after rupture, making the dynamic between you visible, what's being repeated, and why, and strengthening communication.

Next Steps

I. Initial Consultation

Getting started is simple, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation, which gives us both a chance to talk through what's bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you have, and get a feel for whether we're a good fit to work together.

To book a free consultation or ask a question, get in touch via the contact form at the end of the page.

What is Pyschotherapy?

Therapy is a dedicated, confidential, space to think, feel, and be heard without the roles, expectations, or performance that often shape our other relationships. It's a place to slow down and pay attention to what's actually going on beneath the surface of daily life,  patterns and feelings that shape how we relate to ourselves and to others.

There's no fixed formula for what happens in the room. Some weeks might involve working through a specific difficulty, others might be quieter, more exploratory. What stays consistent is the relationship itself, a steady, honest, collaborative space in which change becomes possible, not through being fixed, but through being properly understood.

Therapy isn't only for crisis or diagnosis. People come for all kinds of reasons, feeling stuck, navigating a transition, wanting to understand a recurring pattern, or simply wanting somewhere to think out loud with someone trained to listen well. Wherever you're starting from, the work begins with your own experience, at your own pace.

II. Weekly Sessions

If we decide to go ahead, we'll arrange a first full session and agree a regular weekly time that works for both of us.  Sessions are held weekly at the same day and time.  I offer both online and in-person sessions.Individual sessions last 50 minutes and couples therapy lasts 60 minutes.

Fees operate on a sliding scale:

1:1 sessions £90-120

Couples therapy £150-£200

If there is no availability you will have the option of being placed on the wait-list.

Ongoing Support

Continuity is part of what makes the work effective. Sessions build on each other rather than starting fresh each week. Continuity maintained through relocation or travel via online sessions.
